Hello,
I’m planning to purchase an ASUS ThunderboltEX 5 card for my desktop PC, which supports Thunderbolt™ Share.
My question is:
If I connect my HP Envy bd0013dx (Thunderbolt 4 port) directly to the PC with this card, will Thunderbolt Share work? Because if TB share will not work between my devices it would be useless to buy that pci-e card
when I asked chatgpt, he insisted that due to the fact that my laptop has TB4 and TB Share is not built in, this function will not work

Hello MINIMAL,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
I understand that you have inquiry about whether Thunderbolt Share will work with HP Envy bd0013dx. Thunderbolt Share is compatible with all Intel® based Thunderbolt™ 4 and Thunderbolt™ 5 enabled PCs running Windows® 11 or newer.
In most cases, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is best positioned to determine whether Thunderbolt™ Share is compatible with your specific PC model. Given that your system is manufactured by HP, I would recommend reaching out to their support team directly for confirmation. This will help ensure that you receive accurate guidance and an appropriate resolution based on your device’s specifications and firmware.
