Hello,
I'm use AC 9260 adapter with latest drivers:
Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Windows® 10 x64 Ver 20.70.0
Intel® PROSet/Wireless driver Windows® 10 x64 Ver 20.70.0
When I tray to connect to AC 9260 using Bluetooth in BLE 5.0 mode from our device based on Nordic https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/nRF52840 nRF52840 chip, AC 9260 allow only connect in BLE 4.0 mode:
PHY: 1 Mbps, ATT MTU = 23 bytes, Data_Length 27, Connection interval: 7.5 millisecs and reject any other option.
Please tell me, how can I enable BLE 5.0 in AC 9260?
Thanks,
Gregory

Hi, Leonardo.
I'm attach SSU output. After clean installation of driver nothing changed.
I'm test AC 9266 on different computer systems and I get the same result.
In any case I can't get PHY 2M.
Thanks.

Hello GregoryShoom
Thank you for waiting.
Allow me to share with you that in order to trigger BLE5 in needs to be triggered by the operating system (OS) or an app on top of the OS. I would recommend checking with MSFT (Microsoft) about when they will enable BT 5, optional features such as 2M (2Mbs) and LR(long range).
Hope this help.

Hello GregoryShoom
Thank you for waiting, allow me to share with you that the 2M PHY is an optional feature (https://www.bluetooth.com/~/media/files/marketing/bluetooth_5-final.ashx?la=en https://www.bluetooth.com/~/media/files/marketing/bluetooth_5-final.ashx?la=en, see table on page 15). It is not required to support 2M PHY to claim compliance for Bluetooth 5.0 (https://www.bluetooth.com/~/media/files/specification/bluetooth-5-faq.ashx?la=en https://www.bluetooth.com/~/media/files/specification/bluetooth-5-faq.ashx?la=en, see general FAQ on page 2).
In this case, as we understand, 2M PHY is not supported on Windows 10 (version 1803). We recommend to check with Microsoft to verify this and their support plan for the 2M PHY It is recommended that you should specifically mention the 2M feature support you are looking for and not just Bluetooth 5.0 for the above-mentioned reason.

Hi, Leonardo.
2M PHY is key feature of Bluetooth 5.0 ( )
Unfortunately, AC9260 don't support both - 1M and 2M PHY.
The maximum data transfer rate that I managed to reach was 250KBits and speed slow down in time. Please explain to me how you can get a full data transfer at least in Bluetooth 4.2 mode. Now Bluetooth 4.0 dongle more faster that AC9260
Thanks.

Hi, Leonardo.
Great job! Thanks. With last drivers (version edited) all work fine in all BT 5.0 modes.
When you planed to release this driver version?
I don't test Microsoft Windows RS5 (1809), but AC 9620 not need this beta version.
Thanks.
Gregory.
