Hello Stevenrenard,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand you are having an issue with the authentication under the Windows NPS 2019 server using our Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX211.
I would like to confirm this information, this will allow me to continue further:
1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?
2. Is the Bluetooth working?
3. Are you using Windows 11 Professionnel or Windows NPS 2019 server? I want to make sure that I got this right.
4. Was this configuration working before?
5. Have you made any changes to the BIOS settings?
6. What is the brand and model name of your router/AP?
7. Is this a personal or a company computer?
Regards,
Deivid A.

Hello Stevenrenard,
Thanks for the confirmation. I noticed from your report that you are running wireless version 22.150.3.1 and the latest one from Intel is 22.250.1.
I recommend you try a clean installation of this driver and you may need to check for any Windows updates pending:
- Steps: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173.html
- Driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html
If the issue persists, I will need a new report from the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and please let me know how many unit are affected by this issue.
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
Best regards,
Deivid A.

Hello Stevenrenard,
As my last recommendation, try to get in contact with Lenovo for further support on this matter and I would like to let you know that this wireless adapter is not compatible with the Windows server.
Also, bear in mind that the authentication issues are on the operating system/Radius end not the wireless card.

I have found the "solution" to this and the reason it appears to be happening, but I don't want to post a step by step for anyone who doesn't understand what they are doing. The root cause to this issue is that the driver/firmware does not have appropriate system access to pull saved credentials from credential guard because its being treated as an external peripheral instead of a system device. If you disable the credential guard via uefi lock, reboot, open up local policy editor and enabled secure boot without DMA protection and re-enable credential guard, your radius Wi-Fi will work.
