Installation of BT 23.160.0 drivers causes BT mouse to be unusable. The computer seems to forget the Logitech T720 mouse, it takes over a second for it to respond. Works fine until mouse activity stops, after just a few seconds of not using the mouse we are back to the sticky start. This is ridiculous. There seems to be no control panel showing options that might be doing this. Removing the mouse and reinstalling the mouse has no improvement. Yesterday the mouse was great, installed new drivers, and now the BT experience is trash.
I am not using Logitech mouse softeware, just the default Win 11 experience, which up until now had been good. You did something bad in this release.

Hello TanjB,
Thank you for reporting this Bluetooth mouse issue with driver version 23.160.0.
I understand your Logitech T720 mouse was working perfectly before the driver update and now experiences significant lag and connection delays. This is clearly frustrating, and I apologize for the poor experience.
Since this is an OEM (Branded Laptop) original equipment manufacturer device, please take into consideration that our support may be limited since we are not familiar with the technology, settings, customizations, custom drivers, and features that the OEM has designed and installed your system, nevertheless, I will do my best to assist you with your concern.
I would like to know more about your system details to fully understand where the issue truly lies.
1) Please confirm if this is the actual system device that you have. XPS 13 9310 Setup and Specifications | Dell Malaysia
2) Since you mentioned that your Logitech xxx was previously working great until the BT driver was updated to version 23.160.0 which caused the BT mouse to be unusable. May I ask what prompted you to update the driver?
- Were you notified to update the driver, and you wanted to get the latest drivers the reason why you proceed with it?

3) Have you tried rolling back to the previous Bluetooth driver through Device Manager?
4) Have you checked if you have pending Windows Update?
5) Please help share your system configuration so I so I can fully check and provide you with an accurate fix. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
 - Click Scan.
 - Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
 - Click Save. *Attach the SSU log file as you reply.

I will wait for your response.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Thank you for the prompt reply Jeanette.
(1) yes that is the laptop I am using
(2) Intel nagware pops up regularly asking to update the drivers. I updated SketchUp a few days ago and it complained it could not enable acceleration because my drivers are not up-to-date . These too combined to persuade me to go with the Intel nagware and run Intel updates.
(3) I probably will roll back. The mouse / BT problem is driving me crazy. It will be annoying though, because SketchUp stopped complaining when the new drivers are installed. I guess I can probably roll back just the wireless parts.
(4) I checked Windows before running. I am up-to-date, although an optional 26100.6725 Preview is available. I generally avoid preview since I value stability more than I need features.
(5) attached.
Thank you!

Hello TanjB,
Thank you for confirming that uninstalling the Intel Wireless Bluetooth drivers resolved the mouse issue. I'm glad to hear that your mouse is now working correctly.
For future reference, if you need Bluetooth functionality, you may want to consider reinstalling an earlier version of the Intel Wireless Bluetooth drivers or checking for updated drivers that are compatible with your system.
