Happening quite frequently. No other discrete messages are shown and connection seems stable, but rather slow (Wi-Fi 6 second band 5 GHz).

Did it come defective or there's something I can do to solve this? Drivers are telling as uptodate.

Hello PhugoidEffect,

It seems that you're seeing an error message on your brand new mini PC and for me to address this properly, please share the details below.

1. Where are you seeing this error message? Kindly share a screenshot

2. Since the system is brand new, is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?

3. About the slow connection, what is the average speed are you getting?

Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Hello Jed, this message was appearing in the Event Viewer of Windows 11. Yes, it's a brand new miniPC with Wi-Fi 7 adaptor and came with everything pre-installed.

As matter of fact, after many hours of troubleshooting apparently the issue is over, but there's something intriguing: I have a Wi-Fi 6 router at home (TP-Link) which has 3 bands, one 2.4 and two 5 GHz. Since the second 5 GHz band has a higher width of 160 MHz I was thinking that it was the most capable one, and thus I was using it. But the overall networking performance was pretty bad! When I changed the connection to the first 5 GHz band (limited to a width of 80 MHz) things improved considerably. Have you seen this before? Is this to be expected or there's something probably wrong with my rig? My brandnew miniPC has the Intel Wi-Fi 7 adaptor, but it doesn't have an external antenna (no provisions for one either).

Thank you for your support.

Hello PhugoidEffect,

Thank you for sharing all this information.

It appears that there is an issue with the frequency bands. There could be several possible reasons for this issue, such as signal interference, router placement, or network configuration. Have you had the opportunity to contact the Access Point manufacturer regarding this matter?

Also, please share the exact model of your Intel wireless card as well as the SSU report for me to check thoroughly.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,
