If you plan to upgrade your wireless adapter, we strongly advise to contact the
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support, or their authorized service provider. They are the best source to inform which adapters are fully compatible with your PC.
Older computers may not support newer adapters, additionally, the PC has to be designed to use Bluetooth* and WiFi in the same card in order to work properly.
