Installing drivers for 3168

I’ve been trying to install drivers for intel dual band wireless-ac 3168. No matter what I try nothing works. I’ve tried device manager searching for the driver, using the exe, trying a inf (there isn’t any)
A error always occurs and I do not have any drivers installed, I believe this issue also occurred even when I had drivers. What can I do to fix this issue?
