Hello, @Sanjeev2
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I will gladly assist you here.
Please, answer these questions to have a better perspective of this issue:
- Is this wireless card the pre-installed card in your motherboard or is it an integration (upgrade/ not the original card)?
- Was it working fine before?
- Does this issue happen with another router or network?
- Have you tried the latest Intel wireless driver? If the issue persists, try your System Manufacturer's driver. Please check the notes below:
Note #1: Make sure to check you have all the Windows updates before doing the driver installation.
Note #2: We recommend checking with your System Manufacturer and using the driver software provided by them to avoid potential installation incompatibilities. Intel supplies generic versions of Wireless Drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the Wireless driver software or software packaging.
Best regards,

Hi @Jocelyn_Intel ,
Yes , wireless card is a preinstalled one that came with laptop. I have been facing this issue , since I bought this lap. Yes it happens with other network too. No issues with my router as my old laptop , mobiles connect to same router without any issues. And yes I have latest 9462 driver.
I did reach out to DELL people. They performed some tests and still seeing same issue. They informed me that they are going to replace wireless card. Will keep posted here after that.

Hello, @Sanjeev2
Thank you for the information provided.
I am glad to hear they are willing to help you with a replacement.
In that case, since they are going to proceed with the replacement of the card, you need to continue with your System Manufacturer regarding this issue.
We'll no longer monitor this thread since they are helping you, but you can always post updates and share your experience with other fellow members of the community.
Best regards,
Jocelyn M.
