The Intel Dashboard for The 'My WiFi Technology' says I don't have Intel(R) My WiFi Technology installed, so i click the link, download it, and install it... then I open the dashboard again and it gives me the same bullshit...

Thank you for your post. You may just need to enable the Intel® My WiFi technology; it is part of the Intel® PROSet wireless WiFi software. If you already have the software installed and need to enable the Intel® My WiFi technology see the instructions below:
- Go to Start, Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a program
- Double-click on the Intel® PROSet Wireless Software
- This opens the "Install Shield Wizard" window
- Click on "Next" select "Change"
- Check if left to "Intel® My WiFi Technology" you have listed a red "X"; if this is the case:
- Select the option "Entire feature will be installed on local hard drive"
- Click on "Next", wait for the "Install Shield Wizard" to finish and click on "Finish"
If you do not see the Intel® PROset wireless Wifi software then click on the link below, download and install either theWireless_15.1.1_s32.exe if for Windows* 32 7 bit or the Wireless_15.1.1_s64.exe for Windows* 7 64bit:
