Hi Intel,
Can I ask, is it okay to change the driver/software that controls the WiFi Radio into another driver/software, because Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection does not support Hotspot so I supposed to change it with another one compatible with Intel(R) My WiFi***.
Current driver: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
Driver version 13.4.0.139
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
Laptop Product: NEO M54N
Best Regards,

Hi Jesim,
There is a newer version (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22116&lang=eng 15.3.1) of the Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software available for your system. However when moving between major versions like 13.x and 15.x we strongly recommend that you completely uninstall the old software before installing the new one.
This can be a complicated process and you may want to contact support for assistance.
Regards,
IleneK
