My internet connection dropped and when I went to reconnect no networks were shown. There are networks I can connect to with other devices. Device manager show the adapter is working fine with the most up to date driver. I have uninstalled the device, rolled back the driver and updated again. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Hello, @Bruce-YYC
Thank you for the report.
You can try the following steps of the article Wi-Fi Button Disappears While Using Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (Gig+)
- Go to the search bar and type "Services".
- On the services window, look for "WLAN Auto Config."
- Set the status of the service as "automatic".
- Restart the computer.
If the steps above don't work, ry a Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers, using the latest wireless driver from your System Manufacturer. If it doesn't work, please try this steps using the latest Intel wireless driver. Please follow the order described and check the notes:
Note #1: Make sure to check you have all the Windows updates before doing the driver installation. Also, make sure to do this step disconnected from the internet (wi-fi or wired connection) since Microsoft updates drivers automatically and prevents doing the clean installation successfully.
Note #2: Since this is a laptop, we recommend checking with your System Manufacturer and using the driver software provided by them to avoid potential installation incompatibilities. Intel supplies generic versions of Wireless Drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the wireless driver software or software packaging.
Note #3: In case you had to use the Intel driver, please find the instructions on how to install the driver in the download link below the "Detailed Description" section.

Hello, @Bruce-YYC
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I will gladly assist you here.
Please, answer these questions to have a better perspective on this issue:
- Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 the pre-installed Wi-Fi card in your system or is it an integration (upgrade/ not the original card)?
- What is the specific model of your laptop? If it is a Desktop PC, please provide the motherboard model.
- If possible, please attach a screenshot showing the issue.
Best regards,

The card is original equipment on a Lenovo T15p Gen 1 laptop.
It was working fine and then I lost internet connection. When I went to the network settings, wifi is not shown. Device manager shows “This device is working properly”. Network Connections shows the Wifi is enabled. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, rolled back the driver, updated the driver (from the computer) and updated the driver from the Intel site..

Hello, @Bruce-YYC
Thank you for the information provided.
As I understand, the Wi-Fi icon/button has disappeared from the taskbar, is that correct?
Please attach an Intel SSU report so we can have more information about your system:
Intel® System Support Utility for Windows.
Note: Make sure to mark the box that says "everything" before pressing the Scan button. After that, click on "Next>" and select "Save" and then, attach the .txt file.
