Hello,
is it possible to run the AX210 in STA/AP mode (AccessPoint and Infrastructure mode simultaneously) with a different firmware or is there a plan to add such a feature in the near future? Thx

Currently used firmware blob:

[ 2.760222] iwlwifi 0000:07:00.0: TLV_FW_FSEQ_VERSION: FSEQ Version: 0.63.2.2
[ 2.760439] iwlwifi 0000:07:00.0: loaded firmware version 66.f1c864e0.0 ty-a0-gf-a0-66.ucode op_mode iwlmvm

#iw phy
...
valid interface combinations:
* #{ managed } <= 1, #{ AP, P2P-client, P2P-GO } <= 1, #{ P2P-device } <= 1,
total <= 3, #channels <= 2
...

in comparison a different WiFi module:
...

valid interface combinations:
* #{ managed, AP, P2P-client, P2P-GO } <= 3,
 total <= 3, #channels <= 1, STA/AP BI must match, radar detect widths: { 20 MHz (no HT), 20 MHz, 40 MHz }

Hello CoronalDischarge,

Thanks for waiting for a response.

Unfortunately, this feature won't be supported on any adapter. All current Intel® Wireless Adapters are client-only devices and don't support the master or AP mode.

The Intel Wireless Adapters can support Wi-Fi Direct (peer-to-peer) or hotspot features.

Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
