Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® driver for Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+) Version: 24.10.0.4 install fails

Hello team,

Background

Intel® Driver & Support Assistant keeps saying there is a driver update for Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® driver for Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+).

Issue

When I try to install the update via the support assistant it keeps failing.

So I decided to download the update and manually install it instead - Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Driver for Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200


The install wizard successfully detects the older version I am on and provides me a prompt saying "Are you sure you want to upgrade from version 23.90.0.8 to version 24.10.0.4?".

The install wizard then stops and says "A new product version is already installed".

Further Information

Intel wireless adapter model = Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz
Intel wireless adapter current driver version = 24.20.2.1

Operating System = 
Windows 10 Home
Version 22H2
OS Build 19045.7184

Intel Bluetooth adapter model = Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)
Intel Bluetooth adapter current driver version = 23.90.0.8


Attempted solutions

I have tried rolling back the Bluetooth driver version and then installing the new driver - same issue appears.

I have tried uninstalling the Bluetooth driver and installing the newest version of the driver - same issue appears.


Can you please help me have a look into this issue for me.

It almost seems like the install exe file sees my current wireless driver version (24.20.2.1) is newer than the Bluetooth version it is attempting to install (24.10.0.4) so it spits out attached screenshot 2 even though the install wizard successfully detects I have an older version installed via screenshot 1.
