When attempting to install I'm prompted to be sure that I want to install this version, replacing version 23.----. I agree but the install fails claiming that there is already a newer version installed.
This doesn't impact me really. Just reporting a resulting error.

Hello Gomtuu,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I see you're running into a driver installation issue where the system indicates a newer version is already present, despite displaying version 23.---- as the current one.
To get this sorted out, I'll need some additional details:
- Check Device Manager > Network Adapters and share your specific Intel wireless adapter model
- Please provide a screenshot of your System Information (reference sample attached) showing:
- System make and model
- Operating System version and build number
- Go to Device Manager > Bluetooth > Properties and share the exact current driver version installed
- Please confirm if this driver update notification originated from Intel Driver & Support Assistant tool
This information will help us pinpoint the cause of the installation conflict and provide the proper resolution.
Thank you for reporting this issue. I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

I believe that since the hardware handles bluetooth as well as wi-fi, there are two drivers used; one for each. It seems that the indication that an update was needed referred to the bluetooth driver but the driver it attempted to install was a wifi driver. I manually searched for the latest bluetooth driver, found it and installed it.

Hello Gomtuu,
Thanks for the update. You're correct that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth use different drivers even on the same hardware.
We appreciate you taking the initiative to manually search for and install the Bluetooth driver. To help us better understand the resolution:
- Can you confirm if the Bluetooth driver version you found and installed is 24.10.0.4?
- How did the driver update process go? Did the installation complete successfully without any issues?
In case the issue persists, I highly recommend proceeding with a clean driver installation to ensure there are no conflicting files from previous installations.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

I had searched for the latest driver an found this: BT-24.20.0-64UWD-Win10-Win11.exe I tried to install it and thought that it had succeeded bat after receiving your email I checked and the older driver was still in place. I did the steps to remove the existing driver and tried installing BT-24.20.0-64UWD-Win10-Win11 but it didn't work. I then made sure there was no BT driver installed and rebooted and installed BT-24.10.0-64UWD-Win10-Win11 and rebooted again. This time the new driver appeared to be there.
I then ran the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and it still wants to install the BT driver that's already installed. I let it try to install but was prompted if I wanted to replace version 24.10.0.4 with version 24.10.0.4. I clicked NO and the assistant again scanned my system and this time suggested no updates. So it looks like all is good.

Hello Gomtuu,
Thank you for the very detailed update on your troubleshooting process. I'm glad to hear that the issue has been resolved with the clean installation of the recommended driver version 24.10.0.4 and that the Intel DSA tool is not showing any more updates for this component.
Please be aware that driver version 24.10.0.4 is the last available version of the wireless drivers for these products. This software has reached the end of its Life, and no additional support will be provided to these drivers.
- Windows® 10 64-bit and Windows 11* :
- Package version 24.10.0
- Driver version 24.10.0.4 for Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+)
Since this matter is now resolved, we'll be closing this thread. Please create a new thread for any future support needs, as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you for your patience throughout this process.
Sincerely,
JeanetteC.

I can't install 24.10.0.4 because it says already a newer installed.
I tried deleting drivers and starting fresh install but didn't work.

Just to be clear are you trying to install a Bluetooth driver and not a WiFi driver? What are the installed versions of each of these Intel drivers?
