Hi guardao,

I understand you're experiencing difficulties with Bluetooth functionality despite having the Wi-Fi driver version 24.40.0 installed. Error Code 43 typically indicates that Device Manager cannot start the hardware device, and this commonly occurs after Windows updates that include Wi-Fi or Bluetooth components.

To further troubleshoot the issue, please try to follow the outlined steps below.

1. Install all available Windows Updates.

2. Perform a Clean installation of Bluetooth drivers: How to Perform a Clean Installation of Bluetooth Drivers

  1. Go to Device Manager.
  2. Expand the Network Adapters category.
  3. Right-click your Intel Bluetooth Adapter and choose to uninstall it.
  4. Make sure to the option to Delete the driver software for this device is selected.
  5. Repeat steps A through D until the  the option to Delete the driver software for this device is greyed out.

3. Once the driver is uninstalled, proceed to install the latest driver available 24.40.0

4. Reboot the PC

5. Update system BIOS to the latest version, or reset BIOS to defaults

6. Perform a cold reboot

Hi, Jed G.

Thank you for your response.

I've tried all of possibly above solution and nothing works.

My system:

LENOVO ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 - Intel Core Ultra 7 255H - BIOS R30ET57W(1.57 )

Windows 11 Pro - 25H2 - SO 26200.8524

Wireless Card - Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1775i 320MHz Wireless Network Adapter (BE211NGW) - DRIVER 24.40.0.4 - BLUTOOTH 6.0

Device Instance Id  - PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7740&SUBSYS_17751A56&REV_00\3&11583659&1&A3

This is a new OEM wireless card that I bought and install two months ago.

Previously I also  bought a card BE201 version.

The BLUETOOTH was working with the BE201 card version, but as soon I changed to the new Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1775i all I have is an CODE 43 response and the Intel drivers - BT-24.40.0-64UWD-Win10-Win11.exe - are not capable of fixing it.

Looking for a solution,

Hi guardao,

Thank you for sharing all this information. I really appreciate the effort and patience you’ve shown in working through the extensive troubleshooting steps I suggested.

I would just like to share that before you install/change the Intel® Wireless Adapter in a system, you must contact the system manufacturer to determine if the Intel® Wireless Adapters you plan to install is approved for use in your system and country. You are required to follow the manufacturer's post-approval requirements.

Since you have already performed the integration, it is also important to understand that it may not work due to hardware or software compatibility issues or dependencies.

You may also check our public article here: Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade

To further investigate this, kindly provide the details below.

1. Where are you seeing the error code 43, is it on Device manager? Kindly share a screenshot of the error.

2. Share a screenshot of the Wireless adapter model on Device manager.

  • Device manager > Network adapters

I look forward to your response.
