Hi anotherUser,
Thank you very much for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your concern, and I want to assure you that I am here to help you resolve the issue you are experiencing. To better understand the problem and provide you with the most accurate and effective support, could you please provide some additional information? Specifically:
- Have you attempted to download the latest drivers directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) website? If so, did you run the installer with Administrator privileges to ensure proper installation?
- Is there any other network management software installed on your system that might interfere with the Intel WiFi adapter?
- When you check the Device Manager, are there any error codes or warnings displayed for the WiFi adapter? These codes can help diagnose the root cause.
- Have you tried completely uninstalling the current WiFi driver before installing the new one? Sometimes residual files can cause conflicts.
- Could you let me know when this issue first started occurring? Understanding the timeline can help identify any recent changes that might have triggered the problem.
- Was there a recent Windows update, BIOS update, or any other system change performed just before the issue began? These updates can sometimes affect device functionality.
Please feel free to share any other details or questions you might have. I am here to assist you every step of the way, so don’t hesitate to reach out for further help.
Best regards,

Thank you for the reply! I apologize for the delay, life happens. I appreciate your troubleshooting steps, it appears that I had 2 drivers installed (screenshot), which is a first for me to see. I uninstalled both from the Device Manager but it did not uninstall both, I had to remove the driver from Add/Remove Programs for it to finally work. After multiple reboots, I was able to successfully update the driver. For reference, after reviewing the install history, the issue began with the July 2025 update.
