Suite B/GCMP-256 only for WPA 3 on AX201

Hi,

  Has anyone seen it where it seems like the AX201 (and probably AX200) only offers WPA3-Enterprise in GCMP-256 encryption and not CCMP. Is this a driver/hardware limitation (6e possibly?)? AX211 seem to support CCMP.

In this case, you can go to Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 Specifications page, scroll down to Supplemental Information> Product Brief (click on View now).

In the document, please go to page 2>Security Features>Encryption. You will find 128-bit AES-CCMP and 256-bit AES-GCMP.

Hi,

I have the same problem, with our laptop with AX201 we don't have the "WPA3 Enterprise AES" option on Windows 11, we only have "Mode WPA3 Enterprise 192bits". 

However, on Windows 10 with the same laptop we have only "WPA3 Enterprise AES".

With AX211 chipset the 2 options are available on Windows 11. 

PS : I have latest drivers, and we have tried on Dell and HP laptop.

Any plans from Intel to support WPA3 Enterprise CCMP on Intel AX201? 

Even the latest (at the time of writing 23.80.1) doesn't support WPA3 Enterprise CCMP.
