I have a Intel Centrino Advanced N Wimax 6250 in my laptop. I formatted my laptop recently and now cant find the drivers for this wifi card. I am amazed that Intel has made it so difficult to download drivers for a discontinued product. What am I supposed to do ?
Please help.

Your laptop manufacturer no longer provides the driver?

No this wifi card was not a part of the original configuration. I bought it separately.

Well, adding/changing the wireless adapter is not supported without your laptop manufacturer's support:

And, it may not work correctly:

All that said, what operating system are you running?

Well, I doubt that this will work, but you can try it.
For WiFi: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23723/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-7- Download Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 7*
For WiMAX: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21711/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-WiMAX-Connection-Utility-for-Windows-7- Download Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility for Windows 7*
Aside from that, perhaps the Intel support agents have a solution.

That didnt work. I guess it only works for current products and not discontinued ones. Thanks for your help anyways. I will try the support agents. It is ridiculous - there must be an archive somewhere. I managed to find the linux version though.
