Dear Support - Team,
are you aware of any Wi-Fi Divers and Firmware for Wi-Fi 6 Modules, which support Mesh Mode ( also known as 802.11s). I recognized, that your modules support IBSS mode. I am looking for the Mesh Mode. Is there any current Driver or Firmware version, which supports the Mesh Mode or are there any plans on supporting it in future?
Best regards and Thank you very much!

Hi Mike_Intel,
We have a Intel ax210 and a Intel ax201ngw. Our system runs a Linux Kernel 6.1.36 and is a NXP IMX8MM Platform.
I would be willing to also use other wifi modules. In general I am looking for Wi-Fi 6 Module which support the described modes IBSS or more preferred 802.11s also called mesh.
thank you very much,

Hello klautenschlaeger,
Thank you for the update.
Let me gather more details for me to further check this inquiry.
- Are you using a custom build system or a pre-built system?
- If, pre-built, can you share the brand and model?
- So you are installing/upgrading the wireless cards of the system that you are using?
- Can you further explain why you need the Mesh Mode?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael L.

Hello Michael,
Are you using a custom build system or a pre-built system?
We are using a custom build via yocto
If, pre-built, can you share the brand and model?
the platform is nxp IMX8MM
So you are installing/upgrading the wireless cards of the system that you are using?
we integrate SW ( firmware, configs and driver) via yocto
Can you further explain why you need the Mesh Mode?
Establish a mobile mesh network. Any further information can be provided as soon as we have a NDA.
