I had a problem on ASUS FX705G Notebook with de Wifi.
First I tried to restart the card AC9560. Always KO.
Second I delete le Proset program for a new installation.
After dwonload the WiFi_20.110.0_PROSet64_Win10.exe, when I run it (also in admin mode), the program indicate : installation blocked.
Another point :
Where I try to suppress the card and driver for the AC9560 card, at the restart, Windows found the card and after, I had the message, for the card : code 10
L'appareil PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370&SUBSYS_00348086&REV_10\3&11583659&1&A3 a eu un problème de démarrage.

Hi Roberto,
Thanks for your answer.
At your questions :
Is this a new PC?
--> YES (28 dec 2018)
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes?
--> NO
Was it working fine before? -
-> Yes
When did the issue start?
--> 2 days ago, ,in the morning it working fine (the WiFi), and during the afternoon, for any reason, the Wifi was KO.
The wireless card, did you purchased it separately or it came installed in the computer?
--> it came installed in the computer (laptop)
wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer :
--> done and no more result (suppress driver, recognize card by Windows)
--> Suppress ProSet for reinstallation. Same pb, when I try to insall it (see the title), I had install blocked. So, no WiFi in the Network and Internet parameter. It's not possible to install this software on to your system.
My question was also on to this point.
--> No Bios updated
Not sure if the following is exactly the model of motherboard that you have, but try to install driver version V1.0.0.9:
--> Already done without effect
Thanks.
Another idea ?
Does theses informations help you to visualize my pb ?

Hi Alberto,
I had never modify the BIOS.
But I taked my chance and followed your advice.
So I go to the BIOS and set it to default. (F9)
After reboot, the WiFi was OK. I had only to parameter the connexion with the key code.
I don't see what the thing witch modified the BIOS.
Have you any suggestion ? Program ? Keyboard touch ? external services ? Bit Defender ? Others ?
Still a great thanks for you help.
Best Regards,
Fred

Hi Alberto,
Notice that the WiFi_20.100_PROSet64_Win10.exe is always in the same state. Installation blocked 😆 "Unable to install this software on your system."
An idea about this pb ?
--> Less important but that's not normal.
Best Regards,
Fred
