Hello Fenderlost,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand that you are having issues with the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 under the Parrot operating system.

I would like to let you know that Parrot does not appear as a supported operating system for the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201. However, I will try to help you on this matter.

1. Is the issue also present on Ubuntu or Windows?

2. Do you get any errors? If so, can you take a picture?

3. Was the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 working before under this dual boot?

4. Have you checked with MSI to confirm if the laptop is compatible with Parrot?

Hi, thanks for your answer DeividA

About your questions:

1. Is the issue also present on Ubuntu or Windows? R/ No, Windows works perfectly

2. Do you get any errors? If so, can you take a picture? R/ I just can't see the wireless interface (example: wlan03) using ifconfig or network manager. When I run the dmesg command, I see many errors like this: "firmware: failed to load iwlwifi-so-a0-hr-b0-43.ucode (-2)"

3. Was the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 working before under this dual boot? Yes, in Windows it works well

4. Have you checked with MSI to confirm if the laptop is compatible with Parrot? Not yet.

Thanks

Hello Fenderlost,

Thanks for the confirmation. Based on your issue and the fact that the adapter works fine under Windows, this seems related to compatibility with the operating system.

I recommend you check with the Parrot support team for further support and steps to be able to use the wireless adapter.

Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.
