Wireless Connection Utility Beeping

I just updated my wireless driver and now it beeps loudly when the wireless connection goes in and out or is started up. I happen to live in a rural area where the connection goes on and off frequently.

The beep is VERY ANNOYING.

How do I turn it off? Or how do I revert back to the old driver?

Wireless Networking Product: Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN

Driver Version: 13.5.0.0

Thanks.

If you want to revert to the old driver version, windows have the driver rollback feature.

Click on START - CONTROL PANEL - SYSTEM - HARDWARE tab - Device Manager.

Double-click the 4965 adapter for which you want to restore the driver.

Click the Driver tab, and then click the Roll Back Driver button.
