Possible solution for Windows 8.1, Intel Centrino Advanced N6235, HP laptop

In Control Panel go to Power Options

Change Plan Settings

Change Advanced Power Settings

Wireless Adapter

expand Settings

expand Power Saving Mode

set Maximum Performance for both On Battery and Plugged In
