Hi Sheriff,

Thanks for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum—I appreciate your message and want you to know I’m here to help. To better understand the issue and provide accurate support, could you please share a few more details:

  1. Are the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands showing up as separate network names (SSIDs), or are they combined under one name?
  2. What exactly happens when you try to manually connect to the 5GHz network? (e.g., error messages, connection drops, etc.)
  3. Have you accessed the Starlink Mini’s admin interface to check if the 5GHz AC mode is enabled?
  4. Does your BE200 adapter connect successfully to other 5GHz AC networks, or is this issue only happening with the Starlink Mini?
  5. If you're using Windows, does the BE200 show any warnings or errors in Device Manager?

To help us better understand your system setup, we’d also appreciate it if you could share the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) logs. These logs provide key information about your hardware and software environment, which is essential for troubleshooting.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Download and run the Intel® SSU application.
  • The tool will generate a text file with your system details.
  • You can refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
  • Once done, please attach the generated file to your reply.

If you have any questions or need help with the steps, feel free to reach out anytime. I’m here to assist!

Best regards,

I have splitter the Wi-Fi into two 5ghz and 2.4ghz. My iPhone XR sees the both but not my Wi-Fi. I have separate Wi-Fi names for each. My Wi-Fi only sees the 2.4ghz and max speed is 30mps. I have followed all instructions from intel site how to configure the settings for Wi-Fi AC Mode. As soon as I disable the 2.4ghz it doesn’t show any Wi-Fi.

Hi Sheriff,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly—I appreciate it. Based on the information you've shared, it looks like this could be a hardware or driver compatibility issue with the BE200 not detecting 5GHz networks. Since your iPhone can see both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, but the BE200 only detects 2.4GHz, it’s possible that the issue is related to the driver or a regional/channel compatibility setting.

To help us narrow things down further, could you please answer the following questions:

  1. Is this a new setup, or did the 5GHz connection work before and suddenly stop?
  2. Does the 5GHz network name contain any special characters? Sometimes, certain characters can cause detection issues.
  3. What country/region is set in your Wi-Fi adapter’s properties? This setting can affect which 5GHz channels are available.

Additionally, could you please share the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) logs from your system. These logs give us a clearer picture of your hardware and software environment, which is important for troubleshooting.

Here’s how to get the SSU logs:

  1. Download and run the Intel® SSU application.
  2. The tool will generate a text file with your system details.
  3. You can follow this guide for step-by-step instructions: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
  4. Once done, please attach the generated file to your reply.

If you have any questions or need help with the steps, feel free to reach out anytime.

It never worked before. And I used to connect it with a cat4 sim router in Wi-Fi N. So I didn’t noticed. I tried contacting my iPhone to it same Wi-Fi N mode which was supposed to connect in Wi-Fi 5 AC.I got my Starlink yesterday and same problem, even worse from 150mps to 30mps

Hi Sheriff,

Thanks for getting back! Based on the system information you provided, I can see what’s causing the issue. Your device has an Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 adapter, but the system scan doesn’t show any Wi-Fi adapter listed under the networking section. This usually points to a driver issue or the system not recognizing the hardware properly.

To help us troubleshoot further, could you please check and let me know the following:

  1. In Device Manager, under Network adapters, do you see the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 listed? If so, is there a yellow warning triangle or red X next to it? If it’s not there, check under Other devices for anything labeled as “Unknown device.” If possible, please share a screenshot or screen recording of your Device Manager view.
  2. Are you able to check if the Wi-Fi card is properly seated in its PCIe slot? Sometimes a loose connection can cause detection issues.
  3. Have you tried updating the drivers for your Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 adapter?

Let me know what you find, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
