Hello,
sorry for my english, I would like add in my SOPCBuilder project the Ethernet core on my "old" Nios II Eval Kit. The Kit have an external PHY, the TDK78Q2120. I have take the OpenCore IGOR MAC (i use the uClinux on Nios softcore) for drive the PHY. 1) The problem is then the Quartus II take me error when I recompile the project ("BYPASS" error ) 2) When I change the HW PTF file with uClinux, when I recompile the kernel, the file open_eth.c take to me a lot of errors, and i can't recompile the new kernel with Opencore MAC. Can You help me? Somebody have any idea ??? Thanks. P.S.: I use a Cyclone 1c12 FPGA .....Link Copied

You need to look at the NIOS forum and specifically the uClinux forum within the NIOS forum. There are several people who have already gone through this pain.
