What are Megafunctions and LPM where can I find stuff to read about this?

go to one of the menu of quartus, 

at the bottom, there is a megawizard plugin manager. 

 

Pick what you need and then check the help if you don't understand  

(from the help menu of Quartus).

That's the Tools menu to launch the wizard. 

 

There are also User Guides for many of the megafunctions (including some that follow the LPM "standard"): http://www.altera.com/literature/lit-ug.jsp
