The goal of my project is to sample the sawtooth waveform that has 100MHz frequency. I have to sample the lowest point, the highest point and the middle point. I still have no idea about how to do this. Please give me a more specific direction.
Thank you guys!Link Copied

I am sorry, you will need to add more clarity to this request.
Is the Sawtooth waveform on some external device, and is it being brough into the FPGA via an A/D that is sampling the waveform, and into the FPGA? Please provide more details, or is that what you are suposed to propose as part of this exercise?- Mark as New

Sorry! It's not clear enough.
I am using Altera DSP Board and try to sample a sawtooth waveform from the oscilloscope. So, the analog signal is coming from the output of the oscilloscope and go into the A/D converter on the board. Then I have to sample the lowest point, the highest point and the middle point and store these data in the memory. Do you have any idea to do that? Thanks a lot!!
