Renu N. Navale is vice president in the Edge Computing Group and general manager of the Health and Cities Division at Intel Corporation. She is responsible for the growth of business using AI, video, edge computing, IoT, and other emerging technologies, to drive digital transformation in cities, communities, transportation critical infrastructure, and health and life sciences sectors. An industry veteran with more than 25 years of technology experience, Navale has championed transformative strategies, including a successful incubation of an edge software business and new revenue streams for Intel. She has extensive experience in establishing world class ecosystems to accelerate network and edge transformation. Navale has also held leadership positions in strategic planning, product management, software marketing and engineering. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from Bangalore University in India, a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from Arizona State University, and an MBA degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Navale is an ardent supporter of STEM and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. She is currently on the board of Intel Network of Executive Women, and the executive sponsor for Arizona Women in Intel Network. In the past, she has been on the boards of LFEdge and Scitech Institute.
