Shaji Kootaal Achuthan is a Senior Staff Engineer in the Information Technology group at Intel Corporation. Shaji is responsible for Platform Server performance benchmarking/optimizations and enabling plan of record for global IT Data centers for Design, Office and Enterprise server purchases. Shaji works closely with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors on software optimization and validation on Intel server platforms and also works with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for optimized server platforms specific to EDA. Shaji also works closely with Intel SMG on multiple customer engagements and enables them buy the best optimized Intel server CPU based platforms for EDA. Shaji has been with Intel for 20+ years and has worked in the areas of Network protocols, drivers and ASIC validations before joining IT. Shaji holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, India
