I have over 25 years experience of Fortran programming. I have developed and managed a variety of large software systems in the UK Met Office used in the operational weather and climate models. Currently working for Oracle specialist Nymad as a consultant for Network Rail managing, developing and rewriting a train simulation model. This is partly written in C (and flavours thereof) and I am rapidly gaining knowledge of these languages.
