My Windows 10 PC has a CPU that I placed below,
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.19 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce MX330 (2 GB), Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB)
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.
I'm not sure where to ask this. I saw no basic i5 Core processor heading. The question I have is with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU, is there a way to upgrade it or add some kind of an add-on?
I'd like to have a better Processor, although this one works just fine for now.
Let me know what you think?
Thanks,
Barry

No, you cannot upgrade. You have a BGA socketed processor, which means that it is soldered to the motherboard.
There will be those that say you can, but trust me.

Unless you have unbelievable experience and excellent equipment and soldering skills, right, do not try. Besides, I doubt you will find a bga processor that you can purchase. Now, do not forget bios support.
Yeah, go ahead and try. I love saying I told you so.
