Intel Parallel Adivsor Lite is helpful if you want to thread your code and PTU is a very useful free performance tuning tool.

PTU isn't exactly free. It requires a VTune license; it's a no-extra-cost alternative to VTune.

Yes. But it still can be used with a free evaluation VTune license (Which makes VTune "free" the same way, though)
