Hi all,

I am new to this community. I have a question regarding to profiling JIT. I want to use VTune to profile JIT'ed process(NOT the JIT compiler itself) without using the JIT Profiling API. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can answer this.

Thank you!

Hi ,

Thank you for posting in Intel communities.

We are working on this internally and get back to you with an update soon.

In the meantime, can you share the following details which will help us to investigate further :

1. Sample reproducer code.

2. VTune version.

3. Exact steps and the commands used.

4. OS, Kernel and Processor details.

5. Can you please let us know why you are not using JIT Profiling APIs? Is there a specific reason or use case?

Regards,

Diya

Hi,

Could you please let us know which JIT compiler you are using?

JAVA, node.js, and .Net should be supported w/o the ITT APIs, but others may require the APIs.

Also, the APIs support better filtering results to focus on the regions of interest.

Could you please share the above mentioned details as well so that we can try to investigate the issue from our end?

Regards,

Diya
