Decomposing my software performance tasks, it seems that I have a decent understanding of Fortran, physics of the model, and the differences in 1980s architecture vs 2008. But I have limited knowledge of the technical aspects of metrics and optimization in the modern environment. So hiring those skills might make more sense than trying to learn them by myself.
Some years back my organization usedan Intel software services group for something similar, but I can't find a link for them anymore. Is there anybody who does this kind of work on a consulting basis, or where would I look for somebody?
