Cannot capture Linux Kernel data

Hi,

I ran a vtune "Basic Hotspots Analysis" on an app to test the Linux Device Driver. I have
    rpm -ivh kernel-debuginfo-common-*.rpm
rpm -ivh kernel-debug-debuginfo-*.rpm installed. But still Vtune didn't capture the kernel profile data. Let me know if i am missing any thing.

Thanks

Hi PING-CHING Y.:

You probably need to configure the VTune Amplifier XE search directories and make sure you point it to the debug version of the kernel and then re-resolve.  See step 6 of this article, although it is for a slightly older version, the same concept applies.

Hi,

I tried the article, unfortunately I didn't help. I still don't see the kernel data. I am working on 2.6.32 Kernel. Please advice if i can try something else.

Thanks
