Hi
I'mtrying to determinethe optimal license configuration for my group. At present we have a number of standard per user licenses but there is a need for several new users to start using the product sporadically.
I believe that a floating license would be the correct one to go for but before I commitI would likesome assurance that users of the floating license will be able to "drop" and "pick-up" the license at will. I.e.as soon asuser 1 has finished user 2 can start work using the same floating license.
So far I have been unable to get an answer on this point from sales support

Hi Oates,
Yes, the floating license can be used this way. It limits total number of users: e.g. 5 concurrently working people. So no more than 5 programmers should use the product in time. You can change users, but total number must not exceed the limit. Also please refer to the EULA agreement for details:
