I was hoping if you could provide me some guidance regarding use of VTune to find out the memory Load time of an exe I have that is built using static libraries.
Since the exe is built using static libraries, I only need to find out the time taken for the exe to get loaded into the memory after a cold start.
I have followed the steps of the sampling demo given in VTune Help. I selected the option TimeBased OS timer once and also tried with the event based using processor counters option once.
Please could you provide any guidance as to how to calculate the load time from this result or whether I should do it in some other way.(the exactsteps would be really helpful)I would really be grateful for any insight regarding analysis of the results as well.
