How to get source/assembly data for remote collection on linux?

If I try to view source, it says "incorrect association of binary file with module". But when I go to associate the binary with its actual file it says "pair or binary and symbol is invalid" I am using icc on the linux machine. And comiled it with -g. What am I supposed to associate with?
