I am new to VTune. I want to sample the IPC or L1/L2 missrate for every 25 million retired instructions interval, and use these data to do the phase analysis.
From the examples and documents, I can only find how to get the averaging IPC or L1/L2 missrate for each function or instruction. I can not find a way to solve this question.
Any suggestion will be really helpful.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm interested in similar data extraction. It appears that VTune now (version 9.0 update 7) shows a Over Time View, which presents the distribution of sampled data over time. It can be viewed using the little Hourglass image in the Sampling view.
However, there doesn't seem to be a way to configure the interval of such collection. TBS doesn't seem to be enabled/implemented for the Linux version.
I'm interested to know your findings.
Thanks
