Identifying opportunities for Parallelism in sequential programs

Hi there,

I am pretty new to the intel oneapi toolkits and I have gone through a few tutorials on identifying hotspots on some sample applications. However, I would like to find out if there is a way to use the toolkit that can identify potential opportunities for parallelism in a sequential codebase.

For instance here:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/documentation/advisor-user-guide/top/model-threading-designs/add-parallelism-to-your-program/next-steps-for-the-parallel-program/use-intel-inspector-and-intel-vtune-profiler.html

it says that we can use intel vtune to find opportunities where I am missing parallelism. But, I am not seeing any tutorials to do that. Can anyone point me to some resource or explain how this can done ?

Thanks !
