I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, and vtune doesn't seem to work properly on it (at least not within Eclipse). So although I'm not happy, I accept that I'm going to have to install an older version of Ubuntu. Now the question is how old.
Can anyone comment on what's the most recent version of Ubuntu that people have had luck with?
Thanks,
Christian

The Release Notes always document which releases of each distro are supported. For version 9.1 Update, it says, "Ubuntu* 8.10 and 8.04." Release Notes are available after extracting the tar file, from the Registration Center, and online in the product information.
