We are triying to install vtune in a server without internet access. It is connected to a front-end from which we submit the jobs to the server using qsub. We have tried to use a proxy but with no luck:
After providing the serial number, the installer tries to connect with Intel, but since it's not possible, it complains with:
===============================================================================
Connection Failure:
The Intel Software Setup Assistant could not connect
to the Intel Software Development Products Registration Center.
Please make your selection
1. Provide proxy information.
2. Provide license file location or port@hostname information.
b. Go Back.
x. Exit.
: 1
===============================================================================
If you select 1, then :
Please provide your proxy configuration information:
Please enter Proxy server name or IP: proxy.uma.es
Please enter Port on the server: 3128
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'AxisSSLChannelException'
what(): 23AxisSSLChannelException
./install.sh: line 346: 224783 Aborted $install_prog $@
And that's it!. Please, any help?

One way to handle this it to get the license file and avoid the attempt to connect. To do that, go back to the registration center and locate your serial number by clicking on the product name:
Now, click on "Manage" for that serial number:
Finally, press "Resend":
The license file will be emailed to the email address registered for this serial number. Copy the license file to the system you want to install the software on, restart the install, and select to provide the full pathname of the license file instead of the serial number.
