I am currently trying to get Vtune 7.1 to work on my HP iPaq 4150, which has an Intel PXA255 chip.
The installation process is ok, and the Pocket PC 2002 binaries were downloaded into the iPaq. However, when I try to execute VTRemoteSvr.exe, I received the following error msg.
'VTRemoteSvr.exe' is not a valid Pocket PC application.
What could be the problem? Please advise!

First, as I described in another post, most off-the-shelf devices do not enable support for the VTune analyzer collector. Specifically, none of the iPAQ*s enable support.
Second, there are multiple flavors of the collector, each for a specific OS (WinCE 4.2 vs. PPC 2002 vs. PPC 2003). You may not have loaded the correct one. But, it doesn't really matter, even if you get the right one, it won't work.
See info on the Intel Optimization Kits for bundles with supported devices.
