Problem with inbuilt excel button

I am having trouble using the inbuilt excel button used to export data.It runs well for the first time when the application is launched and exports the data to a worksheet.But if i try doing the samething for a different run; the button wont respond.

Please advise if i am doing something wrong or is there something that i should configure
