Hello,
I want to use QPI bandwidth viewpoint for Intel Xeon E7540.
However, according to this link http://software.intel.com/sites/products/documentation/doclib/stdxe/2013/amplifierxe/lin/ug_docs/GUID-DE99E03A-D0EA-49A0-B8F4-E263A75926ED.htm
QPI bandwidth viewpoint is only available for sandy bridge.
Is that mean I cannot measure QPI bandwidth for Nehalem?
Please let me know if there is another solution for this.
Thanks

I don't think that QPI events are exposed in current VTune(TM) Amplifier XE 2013, please visit http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-performance-counter-monitor/ - I hope that this experimental tool can help.

Yes, Intel Performance Counter Montor supports measures QPI and memory traffic on Intel Xeon processor 7500 product series. However, be warned that you need to compile Intel PCM yourself and it does not provide the nice GUI that Intel Amplifier XE does.
