=====================================
- Windows XP Performance Analyzer Version 8.0 Build:21288
- Linux RDC
- Linux gcc compiler with -g option specified
** We are a customer with exisiting support **
=====================================
Currently when we perform sampling runs, about 1 out of every 3 times the symbol information disappears. Basically, the functions name are not available in the Performanace Analyzer after the run. All that is displayed in hex data.
Our workaround (really a hack) to get this working again is to clean out the cache and symbol repository in the Performance Analyzer, REBOOT the linux server, and then restart the RDC and Performance Analyzer.
Any clues as to what is going on. This is highly frustrating.....
Thanks ahead of time for looking at this.
