Unsupported Level Zero Graph Extensions version detected

When I am trying to profile the ipex-llm NPU examples, I receive the error message in the Collection Log, indicating the "Unsupported Level Zero Graph Extensions version detected: 1.7. The Graph Extensions will not be instrumented." The detailed Collection Log messages is listed in the Collection Log.png.

The application is llm-npu-cli.exe built according to the document for ipex-llm NPU CPP_Examples and the model is the converted  Qwen/Qwen2-1.5B-Instruct, using the convert.py.

Is it the problem related to the Vtune profiler version or what?

NPU driver version: 32.0.100.3104
OS version: Windows 11 Pro for Workstations 23H2
oneAPI version: 2025.0

It looks like VTune doesn't support the current level zero version. Can you roll npu driver back to older version and try?

How is the NPU version related to the VTune and level zero version?
In addition, the NPU version is specified by the ipex-llm, otherwise we may not be able to convert the llm weights to the quantized version. (I think its a bit chaotic tbh

Just confirmed with engineering team, this is one known issue, will be fixed in future release.

VTune NPU profiling has a dependency on level zero graph extensions, VTune 2025.0.1 has support till GE 1.10.

This is one known issue that has been fixed in future releases.
