VTune Android target in demo version

I'm following the guide at [1] to try out VTune (demo version). When I create a new project, as "Target system" I only see local and ssh, no ADB. As I understand from the link [1], and ADB option should be available by default, shouldn't it?

If adb projects are not enabled by default, how can I enable them? The only information I've found about this is this: [2]. As far as I can see, that guide only mentions "Using the Pre-installed Drivers on the Target Android System", which I don't have. Is vtune only able to work with devices specifically provided by Intel?

I have access to my device via adb. I can also install apks on it. I also saw the "amplxe-androidreg.sh" script in vtune's directory, however when I run "amplxe-androidreg.sh --package-command=build" I get this error message:

> ERROR: Cannot find com.intel.vtune apk file to install the package. Check the target directory.

Indeed there's no apk file at all in vtune's directories. Is this a problem?

Thanks
