VTune and Eclipse

I have an fedora fc6 system x86_64. I have downloaded and installed VTune. I also have installed Eclipse.

From the literature I understand that Eclipse is special. Sincethere is noJRE for x86_64, Eclipse is built with a compiled Java.

When I start vtlec I get a core dump. How do I proceed?

When you install a new version of Eclipse which comes with VTune, you must remove ~/.eclipse and workspace contents.
