VTune collection stops prematurely using "Limit collected data by: Time from collection end"

This is a follow up to https://community.intel.com/t5/Analyzers/VTune-collection-stops-prematurely/m-p/1499998#M23602

I have configured VTune to use the "Limit collected data by:" "Time from collection end" option. I ran my application overnight, expecting VTune to collect continuously until my application calls __itt_detach() (when the unexpected delay is detected). However VTune stopped collecting after about 3 minutes. According to my application logs, __itt_detach() was never called. Are there any other settings that would limit the data collection duration?

2. OS and Hardware details
3. Sample reproducer code with exact steps you followed

1. VTune version is 2023.1.0
2. Host and target OS are both Ubuntu 22.04. Target CPU is Intel Skylake Core i5-7500T
3. Will try to create a small test application that reproduces the behavior.
